In addition to your work being considered for our upcoming issue, we will also provide thoughtful feedback on your submission. To greater your chances at publishing the piece elsewhere, or help with future submissions with us at 3Elements, this is an exciting option! Please note that these are solely our opinions and suggestions on your work, but ultimately you should do what feels right for your piece.
We will tell you what we felt worked and what didn’t work and why we chose to publish your piece, or not. Please keep in mind that our interests are unique to 3Elements Review. We believe that incorporating our feedback into your work does not guarantee publication here or at any other publication, though we certainly hope it helps. We will not provide line editing or proofreading.
Timeframe: Feedback will accompany our decision. We make decisions no later than a week after submissions close, but most times long before.
All three elements (the specific words) given for the submission period (Fisherman, Blueprint, and Delusion
) must be included in your story to be considered for publication. No exceptions.
For fiction and nonfiction, please do not exceed 3,500 words. For poems, please do not exceed two pages.
No previously published work.
A short third-person bio must be included with your submission.
Accepted pieces will be in the journal forthcoming January1st.
